Property Tax Bills Now on Email Latest News

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday said that Property Tax Bills will be available via e-mail and urged citizens to fill KYC forms on the BMC's website. All taxpayers in Mumbai to fill up the KYC form on https://ptaxportal.mcgm.gov.in/CitizenPortal/ regarding property tax. “Kindly fill up the relevant authentic details. Taxpayers will receive updates/notifications through email on registered email/sms on registered mobile numbers regarding property tax. The bills will also be received on registered email id,” the BMC said in a statement.

“By registering for KYC, property tax bills will be received on time. By paying property tax bills on time, the action of levy of penalty can be averted. Notification of various schemes of BMC can be received through SMS and E-mail. Notification of future schemes regarding property tax can be received on time. The expenses incurred on paper used for printing bills, postal expenses, envelopes, franking, etc can be averted,” the BMC said.
